Wasn't sure about the 45mm size at first but it turned out to be spot on for me. The metal core gives it a firm grip while the silicone outside keeps it from feeling cold or pinching. Wore it for a few hours with zero discomfort.
The metal core gives it a firmness silicone rings just don't have, but that outer layer keeps it from pinching. Wore it for a couple hours with zero irritation, which I wasn't expecting from something this solid.
The silicone coating makes it way more comfortable than my old bare steel ring, but you still get that solid, weighty pressure underneath. The 45mm fit is spot on for me and it doesn't pinch or pull hair at all.
