Not sure whether to choose a delay spray or a deep throat spray for oral sex? We compare ROCK SOLID Delay Spray and GoodHead Deep Throat Spray to help you decide.
Quick answer
Choose GoodHead Deep Throat Spray if you need to reduce your gag reflex during oral sex. Choose ROCK SOLID Delay Spray if you want to last longer during penetrative sex. They serve different purposes, so your goal determines the right pick.
Why the right spray depends on your goal
Both sprays use desensitizing ingredients, but they target different sensations. GoodHead Deep Throat Spray is designed for the person giving oral—it numbs the back of the throat to ease the gag reflex. ROCK SOLID Delay Spray is meant for the person receiving oral or penetrative sex—it desensitizes the penis to reduce sensitivity and prolong arousal. Using the wrong spray for your goal can lead to disappointment or discomfort.
Flavor and sensation matter
GoodHead Deep Throat Spray comes in a Strawberry flavor, which makes it more pleasant for oral sex. ROCK SOLID Delay Spray is alcohol-free and naturally derived, but its flavor is not described—so it may taste neutral or slightly bitter. If taste is a concern, the flavored option is a clear advantage for oral play.
Trade-offs to consider
- Target area: GoodHead targets the throat; ROCK SOLID targets the penis. Match the spray to the body part that needs desensitization.
- Flavor and experience: GoodHead is Strawberry-flavored; ROCK SOLID has no stated flavor. If taste matters during oral, GoodHead is the better choice.
- Alcohol content: ROCK SOLID is alcohol-free; GoodHead does not specify. If you avoid alcohol-based products, ROCK SOLID is the safer bet.
